Adding DNS records at your registrar
Where to click in GoDaddy, Namecheap, Cloudflare, and Squarespace Domains to add the records Peleka asks for.
Verifying a sending domain lists the three records Peleka needs (one TXT, two CNAME). This page is the "where do I actually click" companion: the exact screens for four common registrars.
Prefer one click?
Domain Connect support: GoDaddy, Cloudflare, and Squarespace Domains. If yours is one of those, Peleka's domain setup wizard offers a "Connect with [Provider]" button that adds the records for you via a popup approval, no manual entry needed. Otherwise, follow the steps below.
For every registrar below, the values themselves come from your own Peleka dashboard when you click Add a sending domain (Settings → Domains), not from this page — the DKIM selector is unique per domain. Copy each Host/Name and Value directly from there.
Open DNS Management
Sign in at dcc.godaddy.com, go to My Products, find the domain, and click DNS (or Manage DNS) next to it.
Add the TXT record
Click Add New Record, set Type to TXT, paste the Name (e.g. _dmarc, without your domain — GoDaddy appends it automatically) and the Value exactly as shown in Peleka, leave TTL on its default, and click Save.
Add the two CNAME records
Repeat Add New Record for each CNAME: Type CNAME, Name is the selector part only (GoDaddy appends your domain the same way), Value is the target Peleka gave you. GoDaddy requires a trailing dot on some CNAME targets — if it rejects the value without one, add a . at the end.
GoDaddy strips the domain from Name
Don't paste the full _dmarc.yourdomain.com into GoDaddy's Name field: it already appends your domain, so pasting the full value creates a broken double-domain record like _dmarc.yourdomain.com.yourdomain.com. Enter only the part before your domain.
After you save
DNS changes aren't instant. Peleka re-checks automatically (roughly every 10 minutes for up to 72 hours), so there's nothing to trigger manually; just leave the domain's status on Pending in Settings → Domains and check back. See Verifying a sending domain for what each status means and how long propagation typically takes.
Not using one of these four?
The same three-record shape (one TXT, two CNAME) works at any registrar: look for "DNS Management," "Advanced DNS," or "Zone Editor" in your provider's dashboard, and add each record type with the Host/Name and Value/Target/Data from your Peleka dashboard. If your provider requires trailing dots on CNAME targets, add them; if it strips your domain from the Host field automatically, enter only the subdomain portion.
